Brad Block, CPCU, ARM, CIC, CRM

Brad has been with Williams-Manny since 1976 and has been a principal since 1984. He graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology in 1972 with a Bachelors Degree in Fire Protection Engineering and shortly thereafter became a licensed Professional Engineer. After working in the insurance industry as a Fire Protection Specialist for six years, he re-directed himself to insurance production in 1978.

His insurance education has included earning the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and ARM (Associate in Risk Management) designations. His continuing education has more recently earned him the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designations.

Brad plays an active role in industry affairs as a member and past president of the Rock Valley Chapter Society of CPCU, and as a National CPCU Committee and Risk Management Section member. He has served as a CPCU instructor for Rock Valley College as well as served on the National Agency Council of a major insurer.

Brad serves on the Board of Directors & is past Chairman of the Boys & Girls Club of Rockford. He served for many years as Race Director for the annual Arthritis Association Jingle Bell Run and is also past Vice-President of Cross & Crown Lutheran Church.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brad is married and has two children. A resident of Rockford since 1976, his personal interests include long distance bicycling and history

Vicki Busker

Vicki is responsible for the day to day servicing of your account. Vicki joined Williams-Manny in September of 2003 and has been on the commercial lines service team since February, 2006. Vicki brings with her 16+ years of experience in the insurance field. She has held her Illinois Insurance Producer’s license in Property/Casualty/ and Accident/Health & Life since 1983 and has customer service experience in all areas of insurance.

Vicki has been a resident of Pecatonica, Illinois since 1982, where she lives with her husband and three children.

Joe Clinton III, CPA

Joe joined Williams-Manny, Inc. in November 2009. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Accountancy. Joe is a licensed insurance producer as well as being a licensed CPA. Prior to joining Williams-Manny, Inc. Joe worked as a CPA for 13 years in Rockford.

Randy Cooper

Randy joined Williams Manny in May of 1997 as a Property Casualty Account Executive and became a partner with Williams Manny in 2002.  Originally from Pekin, Illinois, Randy graduated from Illinois State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications and a minor in Public Relations.

Randy started in sales in 1981 with the Peoria Riverman Hockey (St. Louis Blues farm-club team). He worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for 13 years specializing in large property/casualty account sales management. Ten of the thirteen years with Liberty Mutual were spent in the Rockford commercial account office. 

Randy is very active in local community social service organizations and is currently on the board of Milestone Inc. Milestone Inc. is a private corporation governed by a board of directors and is the largest provider of residential, developmental, vocational & social support services for adults & children with mental retardation, autism, epilepsy and cerebral palsy in the Northern Illinois region. His personal interests include golf and travel.

Rod Ekberg

Rod joined Williams-Manny in 2007. He is a lifetime resident of the Rockford area. Rod graduated from Rockford College in 1981. He taught for seven years and has spent the last eighteen years as an insurance agent. He is married with three children and two grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with family, traveling and golf in his spare time.

Lori Gaddis

Lori joined Williams-Manny October 1, 2008 as part of the John H. Camlin merger. She was a Vice President with Camlin and was previously President of AMCORE Insurance Group, Inc. and The Weller Agency, Inc.

Lori started working in the insurance industry in 1962. She received her Property & Casualty and Accident/Health & Life in 1983. She holds the following insurance designations: CPIW, AAI, & AIS and is working on her CPCU designation.

Lori was Education Chairman for the Rockford Area Insurance Association and taught the INS 21-22-23 insurance classes for ten years. She was an instructor for The National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving classes “55 & Alive” for seniors sponsored by RAIA for several years.

Lori graduated from Rockford West High School and attended Rock Valley and Rockford College. She lives in Rockford with her husband, James. They have 5 children and 14 grandchildren. She is a volunteer tutor with the “Rockford Reads” program and is a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

Lois Grueneberg

Lois is responsible for the day to day operations of your account. She can answer most of your questions and will process the transactions between you and the insurance company. Lois has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. She joined Williams-Manny with the merger of Camlin in 2008. Lois is licensed in Property/Casualty and Accident/Health & Life. She is originally from Wisconsin but has lived in the Rockford area since 1967.

Frank Haney

Frank joined Williams-Manny in February of 2010 and is dually licensed in property/casualty and life/health. He plans to begin his CIC designation in the next year. Prior to joining Williams-Manny Frank served as the Director of Alumni Relations at Boylan Catholic High School where he directed their 13,000 member alumni association and assisted with fund development.

Frank, a life-long Rockford area resident, is a graduate of Saint James Grade School, Boylan Catholic High School, Rock Valley College (AA), Rockford College (BA History), and Lewis University (MA Leadership Studies). His community involvement includes: Next Rockford Member, Salvation Army Paint-a-Thon Team Leader, Carpenter's Place Volunteer, Boys and Girls Club Little League Coach, Sharefest Volunteer, One Million Meals for Haiti Volunteer, Lorden Haitian Project Committee, RPS Golf Committee, Boylan Business and Professional Network Member, Saint James Home & School Board Past President and Parish Member. He is married to Rockford native Leslie Paladino and the couple has three children: Leah, Zach, and Frankie.

Kathie Haubach

Kathie joined Williams-Manny, Inc. in 1998. In addition to answering the telephone, she takes care of issuing certificates of insurance and contractor’s bonds. Kathie is a licensed Property/Casualty producer.

Larry Hedberg, CPCU, AAI

Larry is a graduate of Rockford East High and of Southern Illinois University with a B.A. in 1965.

Larry began his insurance career with Hartford Insurance Co. as a Multi Peril Underwriter and then was promoted to Special Agent managing 79 Hartford agencies in northwestern Michigan.  Larry joined John H. Camlin Co. in September of 1968.   He served as Vice President of Camlin for most of his first 20 years and became majority owner in 1989, and served as President, Treasurer, and CEO until the merger with Williams – Manny in 2008. Larry earned the CPCU designation in 1971 and the AAI designation in 1983. A long time advocate of continuing education, he served as the chairman of the Education Committee of the IL Assoc. of Independent Insurance Agents from 1980 to 1983 and also served as President of the Rockford Association of Independent Insurance Agents from 1977 to 1979, and was President of the Rock Valley chapter of CPCU in 1986.

A proponent of community service and involvement, Larry is past president of the Rockford Jaycees and Alpine Kiwanis. He also served for many years on the boards of directors of Stepping Stones and the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs of Rockford and is a past president of both of these organizations. Larry and his wife Nancy have been continuing members of Christ United Methodist Church since 1968 and both are avid golfers and members of the Forest Hills Country Club.

Margaret Howard

Margaret is responsible for the day to day servicing of your account. She has been a licensed Property/Casualty producer since 1993 and also holds her Accident/Health & Life license. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1984 and joined Williams-Manny in 2003. Margaret is a graduate of Highland Community College in Freeport and has considered Rockford her home since 1986.

Tim Howard

Tim joined Williams-Manny in May of 2008 as the Construction Coordinator of the newly formed Construction Division. In addition to coordinating activities within the Construction Team, Tim also markets commercial insurance programs for prospects and current clients.

He graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Marketing in 1990. His first job was as a Marketing Representative Trainee at a prominent Chicago Agency, and he has been at various commercial insurance agencies in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs ever since.

Tim is a licensed property and casualty producer and is working toward his CPCU Designation.

Tim married his high school sweetheart in September of 2008 and lives in Loves Park with his wife Wendi and her three children. He is expecting his first child in July of 2009. He enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and bicycling.

Steve Johnson, CPCU

Steve is the president of Williams-Manny. He joined Williams-Manny, Inc. in 1976 as a Loss Control Representative and then as Property Casualty Broker. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 1984 and to the office of President in 1990.

Steve graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He began his insurance career working as a Loss Control Representative. He received his CPCU designation in 1982.

Steve is active in numerous community and industry affairs. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fairhaven Christian Retirement Home and is Chairman of First Love International Ministries. First Love is a Christian mission organization with ministries in Kenya, Nepal, the Philippines and Thailand.

A native of Rockford, Steve married his high school sweetheart. He has three children and two grandchildren and enjoys traveling, mission trips, golf and Bible study.

Barb Joyner

Barb is responsible for the day to day servicing of your account. She can answer most of your questions and will process the transactions between you and the insurance company. Barb has been in the insurance industry since 1979. She has been with Camlin Insurance since 1993 and joins Williams Manny with the merger of Camlin in 2008. Barb is a licensed Property and Casualty producer. She is a life long resident of Rockford.

Connie Marty

Connie has been in the insurance industry since 1976. Prior to joining Williams-Manny in 1984, Connie worked for Crum & Forster in accounting, rating and underwriting. She is a licensed Property & Casualty insurance agent.

Debbie McKinney

Debbie is responsible for the day to day servicing of your account. She has been in the insurance industry since 1984 in sales and service. She is a licensed Property/Casualty Producer and also has her license in Accident/Health & Life, and holds the CISR designation. Debbie is a lifelong resident of the Rockford area, and is married with two children.

Don Mosser

Don joined Williams-Manny October 1, 2008 as part of the John H. Camlin merger. Employed with Camlin since 1957, Don served as Vice President, President, and Chairman.

Don graduated from Beloit College in 1955 with a degree in economics. He is a lifetime resident of Rockford. He and his wife, Doris, have three children and four grandchildren.

Don is very active in the community. Activities include Operations Chairman Connecting Our Future Capital Campaign, Chairman for Rockton Area Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of the Rockford YMCA and Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. He is also Chairman of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Jay Pick, CPCU, CIC

Jay is Vice-President of Williams-Manny. He joined Williams-Manny, Inc. in October of 1988 as Vice-President, and was elected to the Board of Directors in 1989. He is a 1971 graduate of St. Norbert College, Green Bay, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. While attending St. Norbert College, he owned and operated a property/casualty independent claims adjusting and investigating company.

Upon graduation, Jay began his insurance career as a management trainee with the Continental Insurance Companies of New York and was assigned a field marketing position in Madison, Wisconsin. He received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1977 and his CPCU designation in 1988.

Jay joined Williams-Manny, Inc. in October of 1988 as Vice-President, and was elected to the Board of Directors in 1989. Jay’s extensive involvement with community and industry affairs includes serving on the boards of the following organizations: New American Theater, YMCA of Rockford, St. James School & Parish, Rockford Country Club, Rockford Y’s Men’s Club, and Rockford Rotary Club and Rockford Symphany Orchestra. Jay is also a director of the Western Golf Association/Evan Scholar Foundation.

He has served as a member of the ISO/Producers Liaison Committee, the Professional Insurance Agents Association and the West Bend Mutual Insurance Company Agents’ Advisory Council.

Dave Raht

Dave is Executive Vice-President of Williams-Manny and is Executive Supervisor of Marketing. Prior to joining Williams-Manny via an agency merger in 1997, Dave was a partner with Herrling & Schmitt for 19 years, and had worked for five years with American Mutual and three years with LFAC Insurance Agency. Dave is married and has two children and currently serves on the Boys & Girls Club and Crimestoppers Boards of Directors and the Milestone, Inc. Board as Treasurer. He is a Past President of Crimestoppers and Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club. His association with insurance companies includes the Council of Participation for USF&G, CIGNA and West Bend Mutual. Dave was born in Beloit, Wisconsin and was an English major at North Central College. He and his wife, Patti, enjoy golf and travel.

Dave Sanderson, CPCU, ARM

Dave is a Vice-President of Williams-Manny. He joined Williams-Manny in 1988 as an Account Representative.

After graduation from college, Dave served in the Army as an Infantry Platoon Leader in Viet Nam and as Officer Candidate School Recruiter in California. He began is insurance career with Aetna Life & Casualty as a Marketing Representative. He then joined Lundstrom Insurance Agency in Elgin, Illinois, where he spent 13 years as a property casualty insurance agent. He also spent two years in Wisconsin as a stockbroker for the firm Edward D. Jones & Company. Dave joined Williams-Manny in 1988 as an Account Representative.

Dave is active in many community organizations, including the American Red Cross, Rockford Chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters, and the Wesley Willows Corporations.

Raised in Dixon, Illinois, Dave is married, has two daughters, and enjoys outdoor activities, including bicycling and skiing.

Dave Townsend, CPCU

Dave is Vice President of Marketing and an Account Executive. He joined Williams-Manny in 1986.  He is responsible for the overall management of marketing activities with our property and casualty carriers in conjunction with negotiating insurance programs for clients and prospects. As an Account Executive, Dave manages his clients including insurance program analysis, development, sales and service.

He has obtained several professional designations: Associate in Underwriting in 1984, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter in 1990 and Associate in Risk Management in 1993.

Dave is an active member and past president of the Society of CPCU, Rock Valley Chapter and Northern Illinois Professional Independent Insurance Agents Association. He is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He has served on various church councils and on the board of directors of numerous non-profit organizations.

Dave is married to Brenda and has two daughters. He enjoys golfing, NASCAR, traveling and doing home improvement.

Kim VanBuskirk, CPCU, AU

Kim joined the Williams-Manny marketing team in May, 2005. She has worked in the insurance industry for more than 30 years and spent many years as a commercial underwriter. Kim obtained her CPCU designation in 2001.

Kim is a life-long resident of Freeport. She is married to Pat and enjoys spending time with her family and two grandchildren. Kim enjoys boating and other outdoor activitie.
